We all have questions, getting good answers is hard or really expensive. It shouldn’t be if you are dealing with the right people.

Since we offer quite a broad range of services this can be hard to boil down. We are either providing technology advice, implementing business applications (think web browser apps and mobile apps), automation (through workflow automation, or scripts that automate an otherwise manual task). Yes, indeed. It's a core part of our product development strategy. We are strong believers in using designs to define the requirements, control the costs of development and give our clients superior control over budget and scope. They help so much in 'seeing what you are going to get'.

Because our design phase is also an analysis phase, the design activity often results in valuable business insights that can really drive successful project outcomes.

Great outcomes start with really good relationships. Good relationships are only ever formed from really understanding each other. That's why we are passionate about viewing the relationship as a partnership. We are tech people, but we are also business orientated. This is by far the biggest and most often asked question. After all the answer will drive so many decisions. Why is it so hard to get a good answer on this and what can you do to change that?

It's hard because each project is different, and how you might achieve your business objects may vary - you don't alway have to build everything or all features to get started. So a phased approach can work.

Typically a budget of between $30k to $300k is what you may need to look at. Now that's a huge variation - so talk to us to help narrow that down.

We know there are operators out there who work on the basis the customer can be talked into spending more money later in the project when they have little choice but to continue. We look to identify the true scope very early on and nail down those costs before development has commenced in earnest. This means the numbers we quote are true figures - and yes we get that may lose some business. But it's the long-term relationship that is important. If we can both succeed, even if it takes more effort, then we can be parters in business success and still be in business in another 20 years.

Many is the short answer. Picking the right platform is hard sometimes. To avoid paying for something you don't end up fully using, we really need to identify your current and future requirements to match to the right solution. We've used a variety of approaches - from a single script using open-source software that is free to run, to $50k/year platforms that are so well featured  you'll likely end up automating so much more than you first imagined.
